Welcome to the Astrology of Action website! Here you will find progressive approaches to the science of astrology, cutting edge concepts to serve the needs of 21st century humanity from yours truly, professional astrological consultant, Jeff Erik Wallace. Along with studying humanistic astrolgy for 14 years and consulting hundreds of clients from all walks of life, I m a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist of 9 years. Do you ever sense that there are more possibilities in life? Do you find yourself repeating the same patterns in how you approach life’s daily activities or demands? But, also find yourself going over the same ground or patterns while in the midst of rare, exciting events, like embarking on a new relationship or new career?  Is there an underlying sense of routine that makes you, at times, feel "boxed in"? Do you wonder how you could think or act differently - in order to change the outcome of life’s small and large dramas, those repettitive “been here before” situations? Do you see or sense a way to “open new doorways” perhaps?But yet, then, do nothing more than wonder? Of course, this is “just the way you are.” “This is just your personality”, your “destiny”, your life pattern, or karma. This is pretty much all there is, right? Well, of course, there has to be more. There is always more, beyond our human constructions of reality.        Familiar Astrology serves to make us conscious of life by illuninating those patterns we exhibit in day to day life, many of which we are in denial of. And this is highly useful on the psychological or spiritual level. But everything has its limits, and astrology as we know it falls short when it comes to offering REAL solutions, or alternate scenarios for the way life "plays out".                  Astrological Chart reading, as it has come to be known, centers on a form of analysis or data assessment. And through a hightened awareness that is commonly expereinced after a reading, a person can start to alter modes of behaviour, embrace positive tendencies and release certain negative ones. So, with concerted effort and time, (and its only a possibility), they can gradually reframe many aspects of life. But as is the case with many astrology readings, being overloaded with information, while desiring change, only leads to the question of timing. As in, “WHEN will I be able to enhance my life, and transform these issues?”The answer is of course, right now! Th is is all self-evident, yet astrology generally has no clear system to help you break free of its ”box of symbols." It is used to analyze what’s in “the box.” It is not designed, however, to show you “a way out”, or path to escape its labyrnth of symbols. In fact, the astrologer is not really expected to be any kind “role model” in how to live or transform life, The astrologer (due to a general lack of standardizations, codes or dogma, for better or worse) has no clear responsibility other than to stand apart and ANALYZE life- to get to a better sense of life as it is. Granted, there is much healing that can come from helping someone see life “as it is.” But life can be MORE than it is! And this is our jumping off point for the Astrology of Action! The box of familiar patterns is precisely one’s Natal chart. This is the same as “the wheel of fortune”, the wheel of karma, the endless wheel of re-incarnation, the inevitable wheel of life and death, the trappings of time and space, cause and effect, etc..The ultimate goal of the Spirit or Soul, however, is Transcendence. Transcendence means moving higher and higher, becoming lighter and lighter, onward and upward.          We break free from the wheel of self-illusion by moving beyond it, or by pushing through it. Doing this in our minds through meditation is effective, but  not enough. We MUST transcend existentially as well, in our every day lives. We CAN do this through right actions taken at the right time! This is the domain of the intuition, imagination, innovation, faith and will power. This is the way of the adventurous hero, corageous and pure of heart. Yet, as Joseph Campbell has pointed out through myth and history, not all of us feel up to this “hero task.”  Most are content to live within the wheel of repeated patterns, and live a merely “satisfactory” existence, submiting to the tyrant of one’s own personal “status quo”. In this situation, one “hits a wall”, a threshold or boundary. One discovers they are stuck amid personal barriers of habits and conditioning, family imprinting, etc. Trapped within a “kindom of our own making.” And the more tragic this sounds, the more true it probably is. So, Where is the real pathway to change? Can astrology help in these matters? Can we better understand the nature of the “architecture” that surrounds us, and perhaps bravely push through the boundries to a new life? Through a moment of personal breakthrough, I have discovered that the, almost literal, “gateways” to change and transcendence are represented in the, rather myserious, astrological houses. With this website, I hope to create a forum for new perspectives, open to progressive, philosophical ideas concerning the future of Astrology.,Embracing a multi-valent approach to Jungian archetypes and mythic patterns of living. I hope to expand modern Humanistic astrology, into a new type of  Existential Astrology. We will also interface astrology's concepts with the findings of Quantum Mechanics, which illustrate the infinite possibilities of life! This connection to astrology has yet to be fully examined. As “ the Astrology of Action” suggests, we seek an exploration of the moment and its potentials through alternative avenues of experience. In this way, we will continue to break through the lingering ancient and medieval world view that has dominated so much of astrology, resigning many followers to..."the fates".  More Here                J.
